Huntington Beach with Michelle and Jimmy

Here's one of our newest sessions with Michelle and James. It took place on a Sunday morning at 8am, the weather and lighting was just perfect! I am grateful I had an opportunity to capture this great Mother/Son relationship. I believe it truly does show how close they are and how much they love each other. After the session was over, we walked around (over) the pier and snapped a couple more pics but the highlights of the day were seeing Michelle enjoying this experience (her first photo session) and James' words as he told his mother: "I loved it mom, we should do it every month!"

Thank you Michelle and Jimmy!

Jasmin and Felix Engagement

This is not only an exciting post about a client, it's a post about my cousin Jasmin getting married next summer (2012). We headed out to Downtown L.A.'s Disney Concert Hall and Union Station for their engagement shots. The couple got their first photo session experience and they were thrilled to see the final results.

As soon as these pictures were shared, they made them available on Facebook and shared the special announcement with all their friends and and family, including myself!

Felicidades Jasmin and Felix!

Beauty and the Beast

A couple of days ago I spent a day with my friend Hanna. I was amused by the relationship between Hanna and her horses, it was mesmerizing to see how there can be such connection between a human being and an animal. I was a witness that day of how much care, time, patience and resources take for these beautiful and majestic beasts to live, not just survive. From simple tricks while riding to feeding and getting a "smooch" in return, Hanna sure does take pride in being a horse owner.

A day out

It is March! And it is madness any month of the year if you have to multi-task and be a responsible human being, Many things to get done, many places to go. Sometimes we forget to take time off enjoy the simple things in life. I should have just "enjoyed' a day off while walking around Little Tokyo in Downtown L.A., but being an avid shutterbug, I couldn't leave my camera behind... and I'm glad I didn't, I got a chance to capture my little sister just being an average happy 10 year-old kid! It was then I was reminded that those captured moments are one of the few things I value most in life. Take a picture, tell me a story... cherish it for a lifetime.

Weddings, Sunsets and the power of a photograph

Hello Roqn Friends:

How are you? We would like to share with you one of our new images captured a few days ago in beautiful Malibu, Ca.We love to capture those great and special moments in life and we hope that our clients a few years down the road hold their pictures and think "Wow!" with a big smile.

I've personally been a witness of the power of a picture. It can bring a person to tears, make a couple fall in love, have you visit the social media page of your loved one and just stare at his/her pictures over and over again, etc. A picture evokes emotions that sometimes we can't express with words. Have you ever noticed how many soldiers (for example) and other people in difficult situations, hold on to their pictures as their most valuable possession? Why is it? We know the value of precious memories. In difficult situations and during the loss of a loved one, we go back to the pictures (more often than video) to reminisce the good old memories.

We as photographers understand that concept, our camera becomes our "paintbrush" and it's often said that our eyes are the window to our souls... our cameras become our EYES and we depict emotions to our souls that not many people have the favor to be at the right moment and at the right time.

Please cherish your pictures and don't let go past another day without finding the perfect excuse to capture some new ones... tomorrow might be too late!

Simply Special Event Planning and Headpieces.

It's been quite an interesting process creating an image for "Simply Special" event planning and hairpieces. I must say that every time a photo shoot is about to start, I always get that "funny" feeling all over my torso. Maybe it's the adrenaline and the anxiety to capture great images and have our clients be extremely happy with our work. The models cooperating in this process were more than kind and made their best effort to work with us and out vision for what "Simply Special" was looking for.

In the end, we obtained some great images that will be used in canvases and paper prints to be displayed at bridal and art shows and conventions for promotional and catalog use.

Take a look and preview some of the final images, for more information about our partner "Simply Special" event planning or "Simply Special" hair pieces, please contact Nicole: 909-519-8773 or send her an email : nabuczek@gmail.com. Please let them know how much you enjoyed these pictures, they'll be happy to hear it. :)

We are new to blogger!

Hello friends,
As photographer and artist, I have recently ( and more seriously) considered the importance of having an open blog that keeps our friends and clients updated with the recent activities and specials of our company. I think it's a better way and much neat-looking alternative than crowding website with unnecessary lettering. We will appreciate your patience and your support to help us provide great quality images that you will cherish for a lifetime. Below, we offer a preview of what our website's new look will be like!
